A TRUSTED ADVISOR & EXPERT LISTENER. You serve as the primary point of contact for complex client issues by listening with composure and translating challenges into actionable, strategic guidance.

AN EXPECTATION ALIGNMENT EXPERT. You align stakeholders on goals, deliverables, and priorities while anticipating impacts, managing scope changes, and maintaining transparency to build client trust.

AN ADVANCED ANALYTICAL & SOLUTION-ORIENTED THINKER. You independently diagnose and resolve complex ERP, process, and data challenges to deliver high-impact outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
Within the first 30 to 60 days and ongoing:

• Learn DSD Business Systems’ mission, organizational structure, workflows, and best practices while reviewing recent implementations to understand success drivers, risks, and promotion expectations.
• Build strong working relationships through 1:1s with the Consulting Director, engages with Consultants and Senior Consultants, and receives coaching to assess strengths, gaps, and onboarding progress.
• Demonstrate strong client-facing presence by participating in project meetings and supporting engagements as a trusted advisor.
• Provide early mentorship and guidance, leverages system expertise to identify risks and improvements, incorporate feedback to refine leadership skills, and within 60 days assume ownership of assigned project segments as a Lead.

Within the next 3-6 months and ongoing:

• Lead projects independently by driving workstreams, coordinating cross-functional teams, and diagnosing and resolving complex issues to deliver strong client outcomes.
• Manage client relationships through regular check-ins, clear communication, effective escalation handling, and trusted account ownership that drives adoption and satisfaction.
• Mentor and collaborate with the team by coordinating change orders, sharing lessons learned, and strengthening technical capability, consulting judgment, and delivery quality.
• Engage with leadership through regular check-ins and Senior Consultant discussions to share insights, escalate issues, and align project execution with strategic priorities.

Within the next 6-12 months and ongoing:

• Own end-to-end project delivery and client success by driving go-live, adoption, support and measurable outcomes through effective workload management.
• Provide strategic mentorship and expert guidance by leading client interactions, reviewing deliverables, and setting the standard for high-quality, consistent project delivery across the team.
• Contribute to practice development, collaborates with Senior Consultants to improve delivery quality, and demonstrates resilience and sound judgment in complex, high-pressure situations.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of relevant consulting experience in ERP or enterprise software implementations required or equivalent transferable experience from business process improvement (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma), operations management, or other software implementation roles required
• Demonstrated history of successful ERP implementations through go-live with experience contributing meaningfully to 5-10 completed projects or high-impact workstreams independently, delivered on schedule and within scope and budget required
• Documented client satisfaction and delivery quality demonstrated by at least 40% of post–go-live projects achieving referenceable status within 90 days, or equivalent post-implementation survey results averaging 4.0/5.0 or higher across project management, technical delivery, and communication required
• Mastery of core consulting soft skills, including strategic communication, interpersonal influence, analytical problem-solving, client and stakeholder relationship management, project and time management, collaboration, leadership, and professional judgment required
• Proven ability to lead projects and workstreams autonomously, including managing client expectations, diagnosing complex issues, proposing and implementing high-impact solutions, handling escalations, resolving conflicts, and mentoring or providing feedback to team members required
• Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders across multiple accounts or projects, aligning expectations, guiding decision-making, and contributing to consulting methodology, process improvements, or practice innovation required
