Strategic Account Manager Position

Position Summary:  The Strategic Account Manager role is responsible for building strong relationships inside the existing client base with key stake holders and business executives to ensure the customer’s business needs are being understood and met. The role over sees a portfolio of assigned customers, collaborating with other internal sales teams and services to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services.

  • Build strong client relationships to maintain current business and acquire new customers
  • Manage and ensure client retention with on time renewals
  • Identify revenue opportunities within existing accounts across the clients’ various divisions
  • Create and execute sales proposals
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of the ERP industry as well as associated top ISVs within that channel space
  • Work closely with professional services team on services opportunities like upgrades and customizations
  • Record and update all sales activity in CRM system
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of sales leads/opportunities to ensure sales quotas are achieved
  • Deliver accurate sales reporting forecasts
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in related sales role
  • Experience in Software Industry preferred (Sage MME, Sage Intacct and Acumatica Channel ideal)
  • Proficiency in CRM Software
  • Satisfactory problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer success and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients
  • Ability to work as a part of a team while collaborating across multiple departments
  • Independently driven to accomplish tasks without micromanagement
  • Time management and multitasking skills in order to handle multiple tasks and clients at once
