- Strategic Account Manager – Sage Intacct & 100

As the Strategic Account Manager at DSD Business Systems, you will have the opportunity to own long-term client relationships, drive retention and expansion, and maximize the value clients gain from their ERP investments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
Within the first 30-60 days and ongoing:
- Attend onboarding sessions to learn core systems, processes, and product methodology while developing proficiency in CRM, support ticketing, and billing workflows.
- Learn DSD systems, processes, and product methodology, and develops proficiency in core tools including CRM, support ticketing, and billing.
- Stratify assigned clients by risk and engagement, identify priority accounts, and drive early momentum through proactive outreach and documented follow-ups.
- Build product fluency by completing required training and certifications, leveraging publisher resources, and identify expansion and renewal opportunities.
3-6 months and ongoing:
- Develop and execute focused engagement plans for top-tier and at-risk accounts, conduct strategic planning and wellness calls, validate client stratification, and prioritize client-facing time.
- Identify expansion opportunities through client usage insights, collaborate cross-functionally to advance initiatives, and maintain required product and publisher proficiency.
- Prepare for weekly 1:1s with clear insights on client risks, renewals, and expansion opportunities while maintaining disciplined CRM documentation to support forecasting and decision-making.
6-12 months and ongoing:
- Build and owns strategic client relationships by driving renewals and expansion, maintaining deep account insight, and clearly tying portfolio performance to retention and growth outcomes.
- Leverage portfolio data and cross-functional collaboration to surface trends, resolve complex challenges, and share actionable insights that improve client outcomes and team performance.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing sales, account management, or customer success role within a B2B environment required
- Proven ability to manage and grow an existing book of business, driving client retention, satisfaction, and expansion revenue required
- Experience identifying revenue opportunities within existing accounts and managing a sales or expansion pipeline in a CRM system required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage business stakeholders and executives professionally and effectively required
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate client concerns, service issues, and competing priorities required
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Professional Services, Support, and Finance teams to deliver client outcomes required
- Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple clients, opportunities, and follow-ups simultaneously required
- Experience in the software or ERP industry, particularly within Sage (Sage 100, Sage Intacct) and/or Acumatica ecosystems highly preferred
- Familiarity with publisher renewals, service agreements, upgrades, and solution-based selling within an existing client base highly preferred
- Experience conducting quarterly business reviews, wellness calls, or strategic account planning conversations highly preferred
COMPENSATION AND COMPANY BENEFITS:
Compensation range: $80,000 – $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience level and skillset
