DSD Team Highlights
My favorite product announcement was the update to the UI that allows for “personalization’s” such as order if tabs on screen, display of fields, compressing areas that are not needed. The top fun aspect, first would be the party at the Nightclub. It was great to mingle with colleagues, clients and Acumatica friends in a relaxed environment. Secondly, the WIT luncheon and lastly, getting to know our clients on a personal level.
Favorite product announcement had to be the upcoming UI (User Interface) updates slated for Preview in 2024 and Public in 2025 but I also look forward to working with some of the ISV’s that I met at Summit. Their products will help round out our customer experience with Acumatica. For me, I loved being on the acu-Connect panel discussing how acu-Connect “connects” users, VARs and ISV’s together. Getting a chance to hang out with our customers and see a more personal side felt like it enhances our relationship with them.
The announcement of the new interface with the Field Services Calendar Drag and Drop feature was a highlight, promising to revolutionize scheduling and potentially integrating with Manufacturing and Shipping Schedules, igniting my excitement for operational efficiency. The event was also filled with memorable moments like the Velixo magician’s enchanting performance, which would be perfect for any AHOD event, and the fun-filled nightclub dancing with Sanket. It was great to connect with clients and hear their genuine excitement. Our clients loved hearing the new product announcements and felt it was much more meaningful to see demos in person at each ISV booth than online. I hope many return next year!
My favorite product announcement is the interactive scheduling enhancement in Field Service, which are game-changer. The most enjoyable aspect was the quest to find the best tacos in Las Vegas with our team and clients. Regarding client feedback, CFS has shown excitement about Acumatica’s direction and is looking forward to the next Summit. They valued the abundance of useful information and networking opportunities, notably the chance to meet and interact with a potential future ISV and the Acumatica team.
Overall Event Recap
Our team thoroughly enjoyed this year’s Summit, and we’re excited about the forthcoming innovations, opportunities, and all the future holds. The Acumatica Summit 2024 reaffirmed Acumatica’s position as a leader in ERP technology. A huge thanks to Acumatica and everyone involved in bringing this event to life!
