Acumatica User Groups: Topics, Regions, and Local Meeting Details

Acumatica User Groups

Acumatica User Groups are a big part of The Acumatica Community. They are regional groups of users that meet regularly in person and are open to local customers, partners, and Acumatica employees. They’re a place where you can engage in conversations and create groups with like-minded members. There are tons of groups spread across the country including a Northwest Region group, Northeast Region group, Midwest Region group, and much more!

User Group History

The very first Acumatica User Group was the Rocky Mountain Acumatica user group which was started in 2019, prior to the new Acumatica Community. This was a group of Acumatica users who met in person in Denver and paved the way for the current Users Groups we have today. This group started with meetings that covered topics like automation, needs, and round table discussions which brought similar value to what today’s User Groups bring.

User Group Topics

User groups are a place where you can engage with peers and create groups with like-minded members. These groups give you the opportunity to create topics and start conversations, ask questions, or share any ideas you may have with those in your community. They’re also the place where information is shared about what’s going on in the Acumatica world, including information about in-person meetings with those in your local area. 

Regional User Groups

There are user groups for a ton of different regions throughout the US. No matter where you might be located, there is a user group for you! The Acumatica Community promotes the groups and their activities. It also makes it easier to locate folks who might want to meet up locally. If you are unable to attend in-person meetings, there are virtual options as well. Check out the regional user groups below:

National Chapter User Group

This group is used to inform members of activities going on across all the regions. This is a great group to join to stay in the loop with everything going on in the Acumatica world. 

Midwest Region - US

The Midwest Region of the U.S. is for Acumatica users that are located in ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, OH, and MI.

West Region - US

The West Region of the U.S. is for Acumatica users that are located in California, Nevada, and Arizona.

Northwest Region - US

The Northwest Region for the U.S. is for Acumatica users that live in Idaho, Washington, or Oregon. 

Southwest, Mountain, Plains Region - US

The Southwest, Mountain, Plains Region of the U.S. is for Acumatica users that are located in MT, WY, UT, CO, KS, MO, NM, OK, AR, TX, and LA.

Mid-Atlantic, Northeast Region - US

The Mid-Atlantic, Northeast Region of the U.S. is for Acumatica users that are located in VA, WV, MD, DC, DE, NJ, PA, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, and MA.

Southeast Region - US

The Southeast Region of the U.S. is for Acumatica users that are located in KY, TN, MS, AL, GA, FL, SC, and NC.

Seattle, WA - US

The Seattle User Group is for Acumatica users that are located in the Seattle area.

Southwest Florida - US

The SW Florida User Group is for Acumatica users that are located in the Southwest Florida area.

NorCal Region - US

The NorCal User Group is for Acumatica users that are located in the Northern California area.

Southern California Acumatica User Group

DSD Business Systems is very excited to be apart of the Southern California Acumatica user group. We will be participating in all of the local events including the first in-person event coming up on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022. This will be taking place in Irvine, CA and we would love to see you there! See below for more details and how you can register for the group.

What to expect: Acumatica users from Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego counties are invited to join us for the inaugural SoCal Acumatica user group meeting! We are excited to gather Acumatica users from all levels and industries to network, thought share and give input for future events sprinkled around the SoCal area.

Meeting Agenda: 

  • 10:30 – 10:45am: Check-in and Networking (light refreshments provided)
  • 10:45 – 11:00am: Welcome + Introductions – Presented by the 2022 AUG SoCal Board
  • 11:00 – 11:20am: A look into upcoming improvements for Acumatica UI – Presented by Steven Houglum, Technical Partner Enablement Manager, Acumatica
  • 11:20 – 11:30am: Break
  • 11:30 – 12:00pm: SoCal AUG Roundtable Design Session (outline future areas of focus, topics, locations, etc.)
