Product Vision and Strategy

One of the main things Sage has talked about in regards to product vision is making the CRM platform integrated with modernized user interfaces. Keeping on the theme of integration, Sage has also mentioned working on unparalleled integration with accounting for users. Extending the usage of investments users have already made, such as accounting and marketing, is a big part of their strategy for the future. Finally, there has also been talk of improving integration points for 3rd party solutions, making the product more versatile and useful for all the teams in a company.

Security and Functionality

Sage CRM Secruity

Sage has recently talked about the functionality of Sage CRM and given insight to things like the way it is developed and tested in regards to security. Sage CRM does a penetration test every two years and uses the results to make updates, further develop the product, and mitigate any potential risks that the solution may have.  These security updates are then implemented in system updates each release so make sure to stay up to date!

In regards of functionality updates, Sage CRM has recently announced that the system is no longer dependent on ActiveX which restricted web browser functionality. Now that this dependency is gone,  all of Sage CRM’s functions work on various browsers such as Chrome, FireFox, and more. This is just one example of the updates to come in the future where Sage is focusing on creating a better experience for its users.
