DSD and ScanForce Launch New Sage 100 Warehouse Management Solution

DSD Business Systems and ScanForce today announced the launch of Multi-Bin Management, a warehouse inventory management solution for Sage 100.  This new solution allows users to easily track inventory quantities and item locations in Sage 100.  It provides detailed information on the location of items in a warehouse, which is paramount to managing inventory effectively.

“We are excited to finally release this full-featured module,” said Jon Reiter, Development Division President at DSD Business Systems.  “Sage 100 currently allows for readily accessible inventory quantities, but with the addition of Multi-Bin Management, users can now find out where items are located in the warehouse.”

The new Multi-Bin Management solution allows Sage 100 users, in an advanced distribution environment, to track multiple bin locations for each of their inventory items.  Tracking, picking, bar code scanning and reporting are completed in a way that optimizes warehouse and order processing efficiency, optimizes capacity management, and minimizes inventory shrinkage.  The new multi-bin solution will allow bin numbers to contain “smart coding”, so the user can define warehouse zones, aisles, etc.  Put Aways, Transfers and Physical Counts will be supported, and a wide array of reports will be available.

The product was designed to work exclusively with the ScanForce Warehouse Management Solution.  As a leading bar code solution for Sage 100, ScanForce focuses on helping clients manage their warehouse and business operations more effectively.  In conjunction with the ScanForce Warehouse Management Solution, items may be scanned as they are picked or put away, and serial and lot numbers may be scanned and tracked through to the final invoice.

DSD Business Systems is excited to bring Multi-Bin Management to the market, in order to provide even more functionality to Sage 100.  The solution is now available for Sage 100 versions 4.50, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.  As with all other DSD Business Systems enhancements, Multi-Bin Management is easy to download and install, and may also be tested for a trial period in demo mode.
