FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q:  What if I do not have a website?  Do I need to have one before having EzHire installed?

A:   No, website?  No problem.  Your EzHire console is placed on a secure server of our affiliate hosting company.  This means you do not have to purchase your own hosting plan.  Once ordered, the EzHire software allows you to select your preferred colors for various elements of the console page.  Out of the package, the software comes with a vast color spectrum.  Brand the website as your own, with your own name and logo, by using the Company Image Upload tool.  

Q:  What if I have a website and my own hosting plan?  Will that affect the overall cost?

A:   Custom packages can be created, but DSD will first need to perform an analysis by reviewing the storage, usage and tools of your server.  

Q:  I’d like to use this product, but some of my positions are filled by candidates who are more likely to walk-in and complete an application.  What do you suggest?

A:  Since EzHire is a secure web-based solution, all you need is a computer with Internet access.  DSD can provide a computer that’s installed with EzHire.  This has been especially convenient for our clients who are in the hiring process while awaiting the completion of their new building and/or store front.  You can also use any computer with an Internet connection, like a laptop, at job fairs making it easier for job candidates to apply on the spot. 

Q:  Is there a way to privately post jobs?  May I use an EzHire site that cannot be found on my regular EzHire URL?

A:  DSD can issue a separate URL for you to provide to candidates for confidential job postings. 

Q:  My email Inbox fills up quickly with resumes and I have to manually filter my spam folder searching for messages from applicants.  Will  EzHire help me manage this?

A:  EzHire frees up your email Inbox.  You no longer have to filter your various mailboxes.  All candidates can be directed to your company’s very own application site – powered by EzHire.  You have an email delivered to your email address when a new application has been submitted.  You can then login to your administrative console to view the candidate’s posting.   

Q:  If I need to add my own custom questions, how can I be sure they are Labor Board Compliant?

A:  Before launching EzHire, DSD submitted all of the standard group questions - that are pre-loaded in the software – for review by Senior Professional Human Resources, or SPHR, consulting firms and various labor board verification resources.  For this reason, we are able to ensure compliance if the operator is only using the questions that are already included in the console.  Once an operator has added his/her own questions, it is his/her responsibility to seek compliance  verification by a qualified representative. 

Q:  Can I respond to applicants via email from within EzHire?

A:  Yes, EzHire allows you to respond to any applicant with a single button.  In the set up screen you have the choice of customizing 5 different types of emails: Reject, Interested, Offer Interview, Post Interview Rejection and Custom.  You will set up the emails one time in the Set Up Screen then you can respond to all applicants with a single button. 

Q:  Can I track an applicant’s status?

A:  Yes, each applicant can be assigned the following status: Rejected, Of Interest, Interview Offered, Rejected after Interview, Employment Offered, Employment Accepted, Resigned and Terminated. 

Q:  How many questions can I add?

A:  Unlimited.  There are no limitations to the number of question groups and questions you can ask.  This allows you to use the application process to pre screen your candidates. 

Q:  How secure is EzHire?

A:  EzHire is secured with a 256bit Encrypted Security Certificate on the server guaranteeing the data is transmitted and stored securely.  All applicants’ information is stored on secured databases using the same standards as banks and e-commerce web sites.
