Search Engine Spider Simulator: DSD will run a program that simulates the software that search engines use called "spiders" to index web pages. The spiders "crawl" the websites and follow their links and report findings to the search engine database. DSD's simulator will show you what a search engine spider program will see. This is helpful in identifying if your web pages contain sufficient plain text content and link texts that can be indexed. Also, you can see if your competition is using "black hat" or unethical practices.

Top 10 Optimizer: DSD will run a search by one of the keywords on your website and the optimizer will analyze the top 10 (current) results for that keyword. There will be a comparison against the web page of your direct competition.

HTML Validator: DSD Uses an HTML validating service to check the web pages of your site. Errors will be identified so that corrections may be made. This is important because if your website's code contains errors, search engines may be prevented from finding the relevant content on the page.
Keyword Density Analyzer: Keyword density is measured by the number of times a keyword is used on a web page in comparison to the volume of text content. This compares the keyword density of your web site with that of the best ranked pages. Keywords can be added or removed from your site to achieve improved densities.

Search Engine Ranking Checker/Competitive Analyisis: This reports your website's position on the search engines - in order to serve as a benchmark for future reports over time. DSD will enter the keywords you expect to be found by, then generate a report to go over the findings with you as to how your website compares with your competitor sites. This also gives you information to the progress of your web site...if it's moving up or down, and more importantly, if it's listed at all. This is in itself is a great value.
