Economy 2011: Back on Track for Growth?

For the past year Aberdeen has been using the forum of the quarterly Aberdeen Business Review to monitor the goals, challenges and strategies of enterprises of all sizes across the globe. The state of the economy has had a tremendous impact on these businesses and therefore we also take a quarterly reading of the impact of economic conditions and sentiments regarding a recovery from the recession of 2008 and 2009. While 2009 proved to be a tough year for many, as early as a December 2009, we began to see a growing sense of optimism for 2010. As 2010 draws to a close, we again turn to the quarterly Aberdeen Business Review to confirm whether or not this optimism was and is grounded in reality or simply wishful thinking.
