LMDR Data Rebuild Master replaces the Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 Rebuild Key Files and Analyze And Re-link Line Files programs. LMDR should be used instead of the standard utility programs as Sage MAS 90's programs will not resolve many problems, and can even result in greater damage to the data files.

This product is incorporated into the DSD Utility Suite, which simplifies installation and use.

  • While DRM runs, it reorganizes data in the line files. This results in a faster system: increases in data access speed and smoother transaction data entry, particularly in Sales Order and Purchase Order data entry.
  • When the data is reorganized, excess record space is eliminated. Some companies have seen a decrease of 35% in the size of the Sales Order and Purchase Order Line files (SO2 and PO2) alone.
  • DRM will optionally reset the "Paid Today" flags in the A/P Open Invoice file (AP4), and the "Payments Today" amounts in the A/R Open Invoice file (AR4).
  • All Key and Line files are on one screen, and can be analyzed or rebuilt in one scan. The process can be set to run immediately, or at a specific time.
  • DRM can rebuild modified files as well. A comprehensive maintenance program is provided that allows a user (or developer) to add their own files, or to change the parameters of those supplied.
  • A detailed report may be printed. If it is not printed, its contents are sent to a log file (there are five rotating sets of log files which are maintained).
