How Goldmine Link Works

This easy-to-use and easy-to-maintain CRM tool can help your office automate sales and customer service calls, and document points of contact. DSD's GoldMine Link for Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 introduces real-time synchronization to your Customer Relationship-Accounting system.

GoldMine Link synchronizes your Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 database with your GoldMine database allowing for quick-and-easy transfer, creation or modification of Customers, as well as Sales Order activity from one database to the other via batch transfer/synchronization utilities. It also adds Activity and Customer/Contact reports to the GoldMine Link menu that log data exchanges, which can be printed or saved to help track modifications and ensure data integrity. This link is worth its weight in gold!

Important: Goldmine version 5.5 through 6.7 is required for this product.

 

Reports

GoldMine Link does not modify any standard Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 reports. There are two reports added to the GoldMine Link menu-GoldMine Link Customer/Contact and GoldMine Link Synchronization Activity Log Reports. Each report documents data exchange activities and can be printed or saved to a file.

How Goldmine Link Works

Data Mapping Maintenance

Goldmine Link synchronizes your Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 database with your GoldMine database through Data Mapping, or linking the fields from GoldMine to Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200. Selecting this menu through Accounts Receivable will launch the Data Mapping dialog. The user is then presented with options of mapping some or all fields from GoldMine to Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200, from Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 to GoldMine, or both.

 

Batch Transfer Utility

It transfers selected Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 Customers, Customer Numbers, and all Contacts, not just the primary contacts, into the GoldMine Database via Batch Transfer Utility, if the option is selected.

 

In Sage MAS 90

Goldmine Link associates Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 Customers with GoldMine contacts, allowing for creation, modification and/or transfer of all Customers and Contacts between the two databases.

 

Goldmine Link Setup Options

It creates Sales Orders in Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 from GoldMine.

Goldmine Link queries Sagw MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 Sales Order History, Invoice History, Open Sales Orders and Inventory Items directly from GoldMine, including full drill-down capabilities.

 

Sage MAS 90 Update Relationship

Goldmine Link options are located in the Tools menu in GoldMine. Selected options from User Preferences will appear for each GoldMine user.

 

It allows the User control of information synchronization through various options. The Update Relationship window shows all data differences between Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 and GoldMine fields. The options to update with either set of data (GoldMine Database or Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 Database), or to leave as-is, is available to the User.

GM Link does not require a Sage MAS 90 / Sage MAS 200 session to be open to be fully functional.

Goldmine Link is fully supported by DSD's Development Team. The first year of Software Maintenance is included with each new purchase.

Note: DSD supports GoldMine Link not the GoldMine CRM package itself.
