DSD Business Systems Announces New Staff and New Offices
San Diego, California - March 15, 2006 - DSD Business Systems announces new corporate offices and two key staff acquisitions. DSD signed an eight year lease for nearly 7,500 square feet in the Governor Park atrium office building at 5120 Shoreham Place in San Diego. The lease, which is valued at $1.56 million, brings the 37,759 square foot building to 100% occupancy. Doug Deane, President of DSD Business Systems, said, "We are all extremely excited about our new surroundings. Over $200K in improvements will be spent in creating a world class training room, state-of-the-art sales, programming and consulting facilities. Our new surroundings will allow us to grow comfortably into the next decade." DSD will be in its new facilities by April 3.
DSD announces the hiring of Cherokee Maglione to fill its Enhancement Coordinator position. Cherokee comes to DSD from Maglione Construction Company, where she was the Operations Manager. Jon Reiter, DSD's V.P. of Software Engineering said, "We are very pleased with this new addition to our staff. Cherokee has experience with MAS90 and Saleslogix, and should come up to speed very quickly. She has exceptional communication skills and will be great fit for our company culture."
DSD also announces the hiring of Lexi Rodriguez to assist with its Internet and customer service activities. Lexi came to DSD from Active Network, Inc., where she was a business development coordinator. Pete Morone, DSD's V.P. of Sales and Marketing, offered, "Lexi will give DSD some much needed assistance in our client services area, and she will assist Dan Smith, our Internet Services Manager. As a Client Advocate, Lexi will help strengthen the business partnership that DSD has with each of its clients. I know we're better prepared for success with her on our side."
