Ken Adams - VP Professional Services, Accpac
Ken Adams is the VP of Professional Services - Accpac Division - of DSD Business Systems. Prior to joining DSD, Ken was the CEO of Horizon Information Systems, a firm that successfully sold, implemented and supported Sage Accpac ERP since 1988.
Effective January 1st, 2009, Horizon Information Systems and DSD Business Systems merged. DSD recognized the high quality of the Sage Accpac ERP software and wanted to bring it to a wider audience, while Ken firmly believed that, by joining forces, he and his staff would be able to better serve his existing and future customer needs at a higher level of reliability and quality.
Ken's experience includes a broad range of successful implementations for various types of businesses including non-profits, distribution, and manufacturing companies. He has successfully implemented Accpac in multi-lingual and multi-currency environments in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Moreover, Ken has used his own bi-lingual skills by implementing and training Accpac end-users in Spanish.
Ken is a graduate of San Diego Mesa College, 1984, with an A.A. in Data Processing and then he continued his education at San Diego State University, graduating in 1986 with a B.S. in Information Systems. In 1986, Ken was elected and served as President of the Data Processing Management Association - SDSU Student Chapter.
